Who we are

AccServ.ai is the trading name of ACCSERV AI (PTY) LTD, a company registered in South Africa. We build custom business software and provide a fractional CFO service from Cape Town. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and how we use it.

What we collect

When you submit the contact form, we collect the details you give us: your name, company, email address, phone number (if provided), the products or services you're interested in, your company size and your message. We also record that you consented to us using these details.

We may also receive limited technical information automatically, such as the date and time of your enquiry and, where available, the IP address it came from, used only to manage spam and rate limits.

Why we collect it and our legal basis

We use your information for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and discuss the products or services you asked about. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box on the contact form.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry details only for as long as is necessary to respond to you and to keep a reasonable record of the conversations we've had. You can ask us to delete your details earlier (see your rights below).

Who we share it with

We only share your information with the operators we need to deliver this service:

• Our database and hosting provider, which stores enquiry records securely; and
• Our email provider, which delivers your enquiry to us and your confirmation email to you.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to send marketing communications unless you separately ask us to.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information, including restricting access to authorised people and storing records in a secured database. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information appropriately.

Your rights

Under POPIA, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you;
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date;
• Ask us to delete your information; and
• Object to or restrict how we use your information.
